Overview

Vanda is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for inflammation. Vanda (orchid) is described in the context of bone-healing and anti-swelling herbs. The epiphytic orchid grows on tree trunks. Its roots and stems are used medicinally. It is traditionally used to promote fracture healing (like Hadjod) and reduce swellings.
