Overview

Mudgaparni is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for immunity & disease prevention. Mudgaparni (Phaseolus trilobus) is a creeping herb whose leaves resemble those of Mudga (green gram). It is found in fields and forests during the rainy season. The whole plant is used medicinally. It is a Jeevaniya drug that acts as a cooling, nourishing, and fever-relieving agent. Along with Mashaparni, it completes the Dashamula group as part of the Laghu Panchamula substitutes in some traditions.
