Overview
Lead is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for gonorrhea. Naga (Lead) is the fifth metal. It is heavy, soft, and bluish-grey. Lead Bhasma is used in diabetes, obesity, urinary disorders, and worm infestations. It must be very carefully purified and processed as raw lead is highly toxic. The text warns about improper use causing severe diseases. Verses: 24-25.
How Lead Helps with Gonorrhea
According to Ayurvedic pharmacology, Lead has specific properties that make it valuable for addressing gonorrhea:

Lavana Gana – group of salts:वरं सौवचलं कृ णं बडं सामु मौ रोमकं पांसुजं शीसं दम ् ार च लवणो गणः Varam (Saindhava – Rock Salt), Sauvarcala (sochal salt), Krishna (black salt) Bida salt, Samudra (table salt), Audbhida, Romaka, Pamshuja, Seesa (lead) and Kshara (Alkalies) form the salt group.

It is a self defense mechanism of the body to avoid further increase of Dosha, which may lead to disease.

In a patient who is already weak and has low digestive ability, the cumulative effect of excessively morbid ama (ama pradosha), food and drug will further deplete the strength of the patient and could even lead to death.

When a person’s dhi (ability to comprehend), dhriti (controlling power), and smriti (power to recall memories, or reminisce) get impaired, he performs inauspicious deeds that lead to aggravation of all dosha.

If one soul could beget another soul, it would lead to a question – which kind - born or unborn soul -would beget the other soul? Any argument supporting either of these would not be feasible.
