Overview
Clematis is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for inflammation. Clematis gouriana is a climbing plant found in forest areas. The leaves and stems are used medicinally. It has sharp, pungent properties and is used for reducing swellings and pain relief. Applied externally as a paste. Verse ref: page 437.
