Shatavari-based jaggery electuary used primarily for urinary difficulty, diabetic disorders, and bleeding conditions, taken with a milk diet.

Satavari Guda [I] — Overview

Satavari Guda [I] is a Lehya prepared from Satavari moola Swarasa (Shatavari root juice — 1 adhaka / 256 tola), Ikshu rasa (sugarcane juice — 1 adhaka), and one prastha of ghee. Prakshepa Dravyas include Kushta, Kusthumburu, Krishna (Pippali), Dhatri (Amalaki), and Padmaka — half pala each.

It is administered internally, early in the morning, with a milk diet prescribed during the course of treatment. Its indications are Sarva Mutrakricchra (all types of dysuria/urinary difficulty), Meha (urinary disorders), Raktapitta (bleeding disorders), and Halimaka (a severe form of jaundice).
