Manibhadra Guda — Overview
Manibhadra Guda is a jaggery-based electuary traditionally said to have been formulated by the Yaksha Manibhadra. It combines Vidanga Sara, Amalaki, and Abhaya (Haritaki) — one pala each — with Kumbha (Trivrit — 3 pala) and Guda (jaggery — 12 pala), cooked to Lehya consistency.
It is indicated in Kushta (skin diseases), Switra (leucoderma), Swasa (asthma), Kasa (cough), Udara (abdominal disorders), Arshas (hemorrhoids), Meha (urinary disorders), Pleeha (splenomegaly), Grandhi (glandular tumors), Krimi (intestinal worms), and Gulma (abdominal tumors).
