Kanni Kurkiladi Taila
A coconut oil-based formulation used internally and externally over joints to counter Sannipata (tridoshic) disorders.
Kanni Kurkiladi (Nariyal) Taila — Overview
Kanni Kurkiladi Taila — also called Nariyal Taila because it uses coconut oil as the base — is a Kerala-tradition Parisishta Taila. The kalka is made of Jeeraka, Ela and Trikatu (one karsha each). The drava dravyas include the juices of Karpooravalli patra, Vasa, Nili, Saptaparni twak, Mrinala, Aswattha, Panacchi patra, Nirgundi, Kanphoda, Kantakari, Kirata, Chincchevanu, Aravi patra, Gojihwa, Kampilla and Tambula patra.
It can be used internally as well as applied externally over the joints, and is said to counter Sannipata — combined tridoshic disorders.
