Bhaktadweshahara Kashaya — Overview
Bhaktadweshahara Kashaya is a set of four decoctions for Bhaktadwesha / Annadwesha — aversion to food. The first uses Sunthi, Mustha (Abda), Laksha, Atibala and Bala, taken with Rasna, Pippali powder and honey. The second combines Bala, Shatavari, Draksha, Bilwa moola, Gokshura and Dadima.
The third formula is made from Pancha Panchamoola (Brihat, Laghu, Madhyama, Jeevaniya and Laghu Panchamoola), boiled with goat milk and administered with honey and sugar. The fourth is prepared as a gruel of rice and goat milk with a decoction of Bala, Punarnava, Eranda, Sunthi and Gokshura.
